Website domain validation certificate (DVC SSL)
A website domain validation certificate is issued to a legal entity or individual and authenticates the electronic identity of the domain owner hosting a high-security website for the browser client. A website domain validation certificate is used to identify the domain holder and the person's accreditation with a sufficient level of security for the browser client that the website accessed is the property of the person identified in the certificate.
